This is certainly a tense drama that is bolstered by strong performances particularly its lead Mads Mikkelson and child actress Annika Wedderkopp who delivers a performance well beyond her years. The other exceptional thing about this film is its strong screenplay that is not just emotionally impacting but riddled with meaningful thought about society and how some situations can get put of hand so quickly and easily.
A strong contender for Best Foreign Film at the Oscars look for The Hunt to make a serious splash come awards season.
