There is a saying how only kids and drunk people don't lie, unless is the one from Jagten. Last scene with make your own ending which leads to possibility how some things can't be forgiven even though it's a lie, left me thinking how facts can't be forgotten - killing an innocent dog I for sure will never forget nor forgive to anyone.
Main character should never put his guard down, I mean screw friends who don't know you that well that you are incapable to do such a hideous thing and who are revengeful with killing without any kind of proof.
