Review of The Hunt (2013) by Anastasia G — 01 Jul 2013
This film is the most moving I've seen in a long time. It speaks volumes to our generation, which seems fixated recently on catching pedophiles. The anguish you feel.
For Lucas is painful as you plead for just anyone to believe his innocence. Its maddening how no one will listen to Klara when she actually owns up to the lie - showing how society is blinded by over-protecting our children. The reality of this film is that any man could face this painful injustice and have it marked on him for the rest of his life. As the ending resonates; people might forgive but they won't forget.
