Grounded by a solid masculine performance from Mads Mikkelsen, THE HUNT, is not any more interesting or insightful than the average American TV movie that has dealt with similar themes of accused child abuse.
THE HUNT never goes beyond exploring a story that has already been told over and over and much better.
