Review of The Hunt (2013) by Dan R — 02 Feb 2014
The front runner for this year's Foreign Film Oscar (already bagged the best actor at Cannes for Mikkelsen's subtle but powerful performance) this film delves deep into the spiraling nature of stigma, small town paranoia and the implicit danger from the stereotypical notion of children's verity.
Not a pleasant subject matter, but reminds us once again the importance of knowing both sides of the story and not to assume guilt until proven so.
