I think the whole appeal of the hunger games trilogy is the science fiction behind it, but both Mockingjay movies were more non-fiction feeling than anything else, just like every movie about civil war and uprisings.
For that, this movie and its part 1 predecessor do not stand out as anything unique. Hunger Games and Catching Fire were my favorite because it was true to the science fiction genre. If you didn't like Part 1 of Mockingjay A LOT, don't waste your time with this one.
