Review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015) by Marcmyworks — 01 Dec 2015
Mockingjay Part 2 delivers the action and emotional rush that was needed in this film series finale. The action sequences are some of the best I have seen in a long time, though as someone who has never read the books, I cannot compare what was left out.
I felt though that in this series Katniss and Peta's relationship and chemistry was more like siblings as opposed to lovers, this to me is the only weakness. This finale delivers, and really speaks of how overthrowing a dictatorship may result in even further consequences, something we can understand in today's political climate.
