Review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015) by Finnigan37 — 25 Nov 2015
I am surprised so many people are tricking themselves into thinking this was a good film, but I guess the rabid fandom and expectation lead to a lot of folks being unable to admit to themselves that they just watched one of the worst films ever.
This was the most commercialized and soulless piece of junk I have seen in a long time. Everyone just goes through the motions to cash their paycheck. Lawrence should be disqualified from all future acting awards after this joke of a performance. The special effects are cheesy and fake-looking. Every scene is poorly lit and staged. There is simply no there there. And at two hours and seventeen minutes it is tediously over-stuffed. Surprising, considering it seemed like absolutely nothing happened at all. By the time the tenth or so ending/epilogue was playing out I wanted to get out of the theater so badly it hurt.
