Review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015) by Matthew B — 26 Feb 2016
It's a shame that many critics and audience members cannot appreciate the depth of Mockinjay in delving into more than just easily polarized areas of survival and romance. The two Mockingjay films superbly finish a series that grows in complexity and ambiguity, much as child growing up and gradually realizing the systematic disparity of societies and having to determine what actions, if any, to take while they are coming to their own self-realizations about trust, power, desire, and their own identity.
