Read the books and found the ending perplexing,disjointed and disappointing, watched the film and was similarly perplexed, the basis of the story is that katniss stepped forward to save her sister (***Spoiler alert ***) and at the end of the film she failed, she also loved peta as a brother and gale as the love of her life.
.. Also didn't buy the 'war is grim' vs action movie schism.
