Review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015) by Erin B — 27 Mar 2016
The hunger games: Mockingjay part 2 is a political allegory for young adults. You see a lot of the characters stripped from everything that defined them. It is appropriate in our modern world because everything in the film can be seen in the world around us if you look closely enough.
It challenges other war films in the sense of you see the consequence of the violence which makes it more informative whilst enjoyable at the same time. It was perfectly cast and every individual actor brought a different element to the film.
Director Francis Lawrence did it justice and created an amazing ending to a phenomenal franchise.
