It's a major step down from the glamour of Catching Fire, and it differs heavily from its literary source--the lack of action and slow pacing make it difficult to keep up with. Still, the social commentary, sparse action, and Jennifer Lawrence's portrayal of Katniss Everdeen make the film worth seeing.
