Review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014) by Panos M — 27 Mar 2016
The political subtleties are the main focus of this movie, and provide a nice change of pace that distracts from the lack of action the whole way through. It's certainly not as gripping as I'd like to give it credit for, mainly because I found Lawrence's performance to be underwhelming this time around.
Luckily, the rest of the cast is very strong and kept my attention on the several twists and turns in preparation for the last chapter.
