The final novel in the hunger games series was filled with suspense and political tension. This movie however, was none of that. With the film dumbed down significantly to fit the simple mind of today's youth, it delivered very few of the political themes that made the last installment great.
It also suffered from extremely one dimensional characters that made the film an all out "snooze fest" that even the star power of Jennifer Lawrence and Woody Harelson couldn't save.
