Review of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) by Derek M — 26 Nov 2014
The first half of the movie is disappointingly flat, doesn't really kick in until the games begin. However, even the games are fairly lack luster and the only time I felt invested was during the last few minutes.
I do not understand how this movie justifies its run time at well over 2 hours. Is that supposed to make it epic? There is easily a half hour worth of story to be cut here.
