Review of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) by Ryan V — 26 Jul 2015
This feels like an Empire Strikes Back type film. It's a beautifully done followup that keeps a top notch franchise rolling. The returning cast members and new ones mesh together well, while the plot advances and introduces new paths for the story to take.
The worst sequels merely remake the first movie. Ultimately, this does not do that. I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has to offer.
