Review of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) by Paul D — 24 Jan 2016
Well produced and directed, but there is a sense of going through the motions here as it's clearly a transitional film to get us from the first part to the conclusion that will follow, and there's no real end to this instalment because of it.
In the middle we get a rehash of what the first film was very much about, with some greater character development, however this is nowhere near as interesting or as fresh a story as in the first film.
