Review of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) by Logan M — 13 Apr 2016
The middle part of a franchise is usually hit or miss. "Catching Fire" doesn't just hit, but it hits off the franchise with enrichment. It charms with characters, making sure each one is interesting in some way to establish them unequally, so when one goes, it's harder than you would first think.
It's restless, and you can't help but feel every part of the tension. The ending is cleverly put together and doesn't stray too far from the bestselling novel. It became one of my favorite films.
