Review of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) by Tatsuhito K — 10 Nov 2015
A better, smarter, and more compelling sequel to 2012's The Hunger Games. The shaky cams are gone, this film has very polished and more smooth look compared to its predecessor (which is a big plus), and it further explores the political and sociological messages of the novel.
It is powerfully acted, confidently directed by Francis Lawrence, and packed with great action set-pieces. Catching Fire is a spectacular entertainment.
