Although solid, the story has a bit more downtime, and was thus longer, than was probably really necessary. as well, it contains a somewhat unnecessarily convoluted ending. Those small nitpicks aside, "The Hunger Games" is a very well-made film with Oscar-worthy performances by all, a highly intriguing concept, and plenty of re-watch value.
