Review of The Hunger Games (2012) by Jovanny Z — 09 Nov 2015
Twelve districts and one Capitol that oppresses them all. Two teenagers selected at random from each of the twelve districts are chosen by the blood thirsty capitol to fight for survival in an arena. In this action packed survival movie only one can survive this gruesome game for the sole purpose of entertaining the sinister citizens of the Capitol.
Katniss, the main protagonist, bravely volunteers in the place of her sister who was chosen for the games. The heartfelt scenes of this movie can make anyone shed a tear while watching. Once the games began the movie got intense with actions of survival.
The courageous acts of Katniss and her awesome skills with the bow and arrow were amazing to watch. Just watching her in many scenes shocking and amazing the whole Capitol gave me goosebumps. Although the shaky camera was not very appealing to my eyes and many scenes in the beginning were silent this movie had exceeded my expectations.
