Review of The Hunger Games (2012) by Deke P — 05 Nov 2015
Good acting serves an interesting, though pretty far-fetched, dystopian sci-fi premise. You can see the story turns coming from a mile away, but the film still manages to entertain as it sets out to. Nice, star-making turn by Jennifer Lawrence, with memorable supporting work by the likes of Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, and Woody Harrelson.
