This year, I finally got to watch this film all the way through, and I have to say, I was kind of disappointed. There are some absolutely fantastic moments--this is one of my favorite opening sequences ever, and I have to admit that Catherine Deneuve/David Bowie and Catherine Deneuve/Susan Sarandon are some pretty sexy pairings (who *wouldn't* be tempted to turn vampire for Catherin Deneuve?), but overall, I found the film uneven.
There are some incredibly well-done sequences and shots, but I was left feeling somewhat unsatisfied. Still, not a bad way to spend an evening.
