Review of The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014) by Kesang K — 21 Aug 2014
It's overly dramatic. And rather drags.
A pity for Helen Mirren because she was the only one who could act! The other actors either were there acting rather stupid and drowning in their roles which seemed too big for their shoes to fill, or they stood there looking all doe-eyed, trying to woo our affection for their characters with their eyes, and failing miserably to capture or keep our interest! I could barely stifle back my yawns! Such a sad waste of my time. All that hype for a third rate movie!
