I should have loved this movie. I adore Indian food, french culture and the french language. It is a feel good movie with very little violence. It was the right recipe to fit into my box of movies that I really enjoy.

However, I kept thinking that this movie belongs as a Hallmark Hall of Fame made for television movie. It lacks depth and believability, however, if you suspend reality, it is a nice movie to watch. The cinematography is impressive as the food looks so good that you think you could smell the wonderful aromas.

I would not rush to see it but if you happen to be on a plane or it is showing on tv, it is worth the time to watch.
