Review of The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014) by J. Scott F — 03 Feb 2015
A thoroughly delightful and rewarding film. I have no idea why it was snubbed during award season. Helen Mirren is good, as always, but I found quite a lot of other things to like in this "feel-good dramady".
The scenery, the food, the culinary metaphor, the class & racial divide, the family drama, and the romance - it was quite delicious . . . and yes, it made me feel good, and I'm not mad about that.
