Review of The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014) by Abel D — 01 Aug 2015
Perhaps the reviewers who gave this film less than four stars, are those who do not cook or understand what cooking means, to those that do. As a "foodie" and serious home cook...I was impressed by this film.
I was taught to cook by my grandmothers (one had a restaurant) - every meat, every vegetable, every spice, every nuance had meaning, in creating each dish. This is a sweet movie, that ends well. Respect you heritage, learn to cook.
.....it will serve you well.
