Review of The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014) by William W — 03 Mar 2015
It starts off in a lovely place, but soon hits a sour note. A female kitchen assistant teaches a man how to cook French cuisine and even gives him inside information on the restaurant where she works, but soon finds her own talents ignored in his favour.
He achieves fame, fortune in the capital, and returns to the restaurant where they worked together. He'll now be designing all the dishes and she'll be working under him. This is apparently a happy ending.
