Review of The Human Stain (2003) by Ayman T — 24 Mar 2008
I haven't read the book, and I've only seen this once, but I got the feeling that this was two potentially good stories crammed together. It should have either focused on the hopkins/kidman/harris story or on the 'hopkins is secretly black' story.
I'm guessing that it felt so cramped because alot was cut out of the book? I should watch it again and see if it's any better.
