Review of The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009) by Jeremy L — 04 Dec 2011
In no way is this movie intended for main stream film fans, but if you can get past the initial shock of the film's primary conceit, you're in for a good horror film. This is a dark film, but it is taken very seriously by the director and by Dieter Laser, the film's mad scientist.
It does not resemble anything like Hostel, which I regard as murder porn. The violence and depravity in this film are gut wrenching, but done so well that it is hard to turn away from. See it at least once if for no other reason than to check it off your list.
