Review of The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009) by Aidan J — 20 Feb 2012
I've always wanted to see this and it was worth the wait. Advertised as a shocking film, I wouldn't count on that but it was still weird to watch. A simple plot about a mad Nazi-like doctor wanting to see this fantasy creation in the flesh and sort of succeds.
The Centipede is shocking but nothing to put you off. The cast were great and though the actor playing the doctor was a tad over the top, he did bring an odd scene of dark comic to the character. Not gory but very disturbing in some places but nothing to "shock" over.
Worth a look to see what the fuss is all about. A good modern body shock film.
