Review of The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009) by Timothy K — 08 Oct 2011
Believe it or not, the movie is entertaining. Though needing completely different dialogue during the films first half, it stand out as something different and character engaging. Here you have interesting characters and storyline.
Other than the obvious use of over emoting and improvised dialogue, the characters have at least four or five obvious opportunities to either successfully escape or take down the evil doctor.. yet they do not .
This explains the 3 out of 5 rating. Basically, you get what you expect and much more. I felt that I was in peril for the victims (if that makes sense) which was brought on by the wonderfully evil Dieter Laser.
