I dont think that it is fair to watch this movie, and then write a review that expresses how unimpressive it is due to its "grotesque" themes.
It would be the equivelent to watching Saving Private Ryan and complaining about its excessive violence.
Looking at this movie from an objective based point of view, this movie does exactly what it sets out to do.
Shock and Awe.
