It makes good on its concept, but thats all it really has. The rest is pretty much stupid cliches that you see in a standard horror film (e.g. dumbest cops ever- they shoulda searched the place without a warrant, the doctor was too messed up) The japanese guy kills himself when its their pretty much only chance to escape.
All in a sentence, good concept, but the bad cliches outweigh the landing of the concept.
