One idea with a movie created to enable it. Frankly I was disappointed at how little screen time the creature had or was spent on its creation scenes. Two grim scenes are the pay off for your time; 15minutes of material in and hour and a half of drawn-out nothingness was a lot to ask.

If more attention to the plot and characters had been given it might have raised its head above the initial shock value but it just doesn't. Even the cover shot is a Psycho rip-off. Worth a look to say you've seen it but certainly no rewatch value at all.
