Review of The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009) by Geoff H — 15 Apr 2012

I was expecting to hate this... I thought it was going to be a load of rubbish. I guess as my expectations were pretty low... this film turned out to be fairly ok. It's very grim... the concept is disgusting, and it had me feeling more than a little sick throughout. But the production is pretty sound, the camerawork is good but the editing could have been tightened up. Some of the plot points were too obvious and often had me shouting "stupid" at the screen. The acting from the coppers was awful, but everyone else did a decent job... atleast as best as you could do. Dieter was wonderfully over the top!

I wouldn't watch this film again... although that's just purely because it was nasty and i'm not sure I want to put myself through it twice! LOL.
