Received instant cult status! When it first reared its ugly head I couldn't find a program that wasn't referencing it or doing a parody of it! It became a huge part of American culture!
When all has been said or done like it or not it is a legend in cinema history! The film's concept was not only original it was pure genius! Reminded me of Cronenberg's earlier work!
