Review of The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) by Aaron T — 04 Jul 2008
It's a fun movie. Some parts feel drug out a little, but not to the point of dismay. The timing is not the Coen's best, but the story and cinematography very well may be their crown jewel. A modernly polished film that looked as though it was made in the early 1950's itself, proving just how masterful good acting, writing, and visuals can make a convincing picture.
