Review of The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) by Mark N — 21 Apr 2012
Ape's Gilliam's Brazil far too much and the bureaucratic world feels all too familier. The story itself is simple and visually pleasing but the dour deco motifs again remind me constantly of Gilliam and how much weirder and interesting the film would have been under his control.
