Review of The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) by Trevor G — 20 Mar 2008
The Coen brothers along with Sam Raimi had probably the best immitation of a Terry Gilliam movie I've ever seen. Make this movie a little darker and just a little weirder and it would be Gilliam to a "T".
The art deco (?) style will be familiar to "Bioshock" fans and the witty banter with "fast talking dames" and the like is very entertaining. Great cinematography, writing and acting.
