Review of The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) by Will H — 03 Sep 2008
This was a very well made and seemingly overlooked film by the Coens. I loved all the 50s big business jabs and all the colorful characters. It was really funny and seemed almost like this crazy dreamworld what with all the comic events and people all compiled into this big plot with Tim Robbins in the middle.
It even seemed like an older movie at times. All the cast pulled off their characters very well, my favorites being the Elevator guy and Bruce Campbell as a news reporter. Worth seeing, and you'll be glad you did.
