Jennifer Jason Leigh owns this movie. She s(t)eals it with a high-heeled kick right in some guy's shin and packs it in her 50s handbag!
The movie is visually impressive, it stylishly draws inspiration from screwball comedies (eg. the fast-paced dialogue), and all the performances are (wonderfully) purposefully exaggerated and melodramatic so as to imitate the style of earlier studio films. Plus, I wouldn't mind borrowing some of Leigh's Jackie Kennedy-esque costumes!
