Review of The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) by Rod S — 12 Feb 2011
A model of style, wit and cleverness. A timeless cult comedy produced, written and directed by some of the most brilliant minds of our generation, The Coens and Sam Raimi, who obviously have a deep love, respect, admiration and appreciation for the classic films to which they pay homage.
The dialog is some of the snappiest, most well-paced and perfectly delivered this side of a half-century. An under-appreciated marvel that should be hoisted upon the shoulders of the film world as a triumph in so many respects.
After watching it, I always feel that my inner comedic-timing watch has been tuned.
