Review of The Howling (1981) by Darren J — 11 Feb 2008
One of two groundbreaking Werewolf movies of 1981, this one's slimy special effects are every bit as revolutionary as those of "American Werewolf in London," and as has come to be expected from Joe Dante, this is more a parody and a reverent throwback to horror classics than a horror movie in its own right.
It's still a very fun popcorn movie.
