Review of The Howling (1981) by Jack G — 09 Oct 2009

This "new twist" on the werewolf story only left me bored and uninterested in it's attempt at being scary or enthralling. "The Howling" is a predictable mess that's filled with stilted and untrue characters acting in odd and irrational ways.

I really didn't like the film, but I thought the special effects and creature animations were solid and sometimes terrifying. I guess that's something, but ultimately the film amounts to nothing but a bad campfire story.
