Amusing references to many past werewolf films fail to make up for the fact that this movie absolutely bored me to tears. Sure the wolf transformation effects are pretty spectacular for their time, but one scene isn't enough to redeem the whole work.
Cardboard performances are fairly typical of 80s wolf movies like this one and "Wolfen", but sheesh. I doubt I'll be checking out the sequels.
