Review of The Howling (1981) by Nick — 14 Jul 2008
Excellent and humorously twisted at its core, this werewolf film pushes, mocks, sends up and twists the cliches of the genre and throws a few curve balls that you don't expect. Wonderfully nailing the genre by subversion and cleverness, this film is a deserved and scary cult-classic that expertly blends subtle comedy, horror, gore and some fabulous helpings of nudity to boot.
A great night-in.
