Review of The Howling (1981) by Larry — 06 Feb 2009
I prefer AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON but admit that the werewolves in this one look great. With Patrick Macnee as a pop psychologist (imagine finding one of those in California); John Carradine as an old coot (typecasting?); and Slim Pickens as a redneck sherrif (typecasting, again?); and the always great Dick Miller as the proprieter of an occult bookstore (imagine finding one of those in California).
