Joe dante's horrific tale of terror about a television reporter karen white who is encountered by a serial killer which she sees the serial killer die right in front of her which after the death of the serial killer she sees strange flashbacks of the killing so her and husband played by the late christopher stone who which during this fillm dee wallace and christopher stone were a real life couple on the set the film has great makeup by rob bottin (the thing,seven,and fight club) and great acting besides dee wallace and christopher stone the film also stars patrick macnee (the avengers) dennis dugan (who is now a film director) belinda balaski (gremlins and pirahana) and legendary actors kevin mccarthy (invasion of the body snatchers) and horror legend John Carradine the howling is a terrifying werewolf film that is shocking and disturbing classic.
