Review of The Housemaid (2010) by Majid S — 05 Nov 2011
There were certain things about this movie that I truly did appreciate. I liked the beauty of it: the intense creepiness of the little girl, Nami, I liked how human and fallible the elder housemaid was.
I liked how it was not a happy ending. However, I am a little fed up of long stretches of time where no one says anything. And I cannot, at all, understand what the opening scene was all about, nor the very final scene.
Can someone please cue me in?
